Updates 0.5.0 to 0.5.4

Update 0.5.0

This version introduce some AI assistance to the player in-game.

  • A rule query. Accessible from the hamburger menu.
  • An assistant to allocate attackers.

These are experimental, do not hesitate to post feedback on usual channels.

Victory:

  • Any kind fo supply count for an objective hex (sea, overland, alternative).?
    Tutorial:
  • Attack tutorial was blocked by an Axis card.

Update 0.5.1

AI Assistance

  • Added more tokens in output in order to answer larger questions.
  • Added a close button because it seems people do not use the bottom drawer or ESC or click again on the search button.
  • Enriched the PDF with difference with the boardgame and how to crack a Soviet fort.
  • During attackers allocation, the AI Assistant button is more visible in yellow. “->” could be used for “attack”.?
    Victory:
  • The effect cancelling next sudden death was never removed.

Cards:

  • The program strike to provide 2 different battle result so that you lay have a choice when playing something like Expert Leaders.
  • Playing Maskirovka plus undo moves does not discard this card for nothing.
  • The main reason forbidding play will be displayed when clicking on the card. (work in Progress)

UI:

  • The hamburger menu was not displayed on the left side.

Tutorial:

  • The movement tutorial was blocked at the terrain effects step.

Update 0.5.2

Added technical logs to understand why some units vanish from map.

  • Would be good if you could continue to report them by F10
  • Also quit the game and reload to see if this was just a graphic glitch or a lingering effect. If yes, you may issue a second F10.
  • If you have details of what you were doing recently as well.

Sequence:

  • Possible cheat during the draw phase.?

AI:

  • More chance to grab enemy city during movement
  • There is an issue of captured city “en passant” which revert back to their original controller during the combat phase. Investigating….

Update 0.5.4

AI

  • Fix on movement.

Attackers allocation:

  • The AI Assistant may answer basic questions on the UX.
  • Possibility to use the keyword “all” in attack.

Retreat:

  • Units should retreat no farther from a main supply source (edge, cities) as they already were. If not possible, retreat hexes should minimize the increase.
