Updates 0.4.10 to 0.4.17

Update 0.4.10

Victory:

  • Sudden death was still checked despite the option to skip it.
  • Campaign, Turn 23: the German operational victory check was not taking into account the Soviet score at the end of turn 22.
The German and Soviet High Tide is displayed in the text of this victory condition.

Card:

  • Card Backhand Blow has been moved to a new segment between counterblow declaration and attackers allocation.
This prevent issues when removing all CB and is compatible with the automatisation of allocation, see below.

UI:

  • Allocation of attacking units: No need to click on the Land attack button to initiate the process. A random target is automatically picked by the program.

Miscellaneous:

  • F10 reported will contain full history file to be able to reproduce larger cases, especially after thought about AI play.
Thank for the player which reported yesterday about Axis AI. Please reopen games and F10, they were not enough data at that time.

Update 0.4.11

UI:

  • The saved game tile displays current phase.
  • Added a tooltip over the segment name in top overlay, providing some info about the segment.
  • Display abbreviated names on unit counters’ side.
  • If no options is played, the option button should not appear on the saved game tile.
  • Refresh the off-map box after a DS, DD so that we immediately see units in their box after suffering combat result.

Organization:

  • Undo after playing a card restore the game state at the beginning of the segment. There were issues with cards (New Conscript) saving the game in the entraining & reorganisation placement step.
  • Logs and animation for Cadre replacement, Entraining and Strategic Reserve.

Update 0.4.12

AI:

  • Axis AI was not maximizing the counterblow on Soviet turn 1 in order to be sure to make a surrender VP.

Sequence:

  • The game was useless stopping after counterblow declaration while there was no card to play as reaction.
  • After closing and reopening the game during the support step, played cards were lost.
  • After closing and reopening the game during organization discard step, it was possible to bypass all organization cost.

UI:

  • The tooltip over the log button was changed to Log & Messages.
  • Attackers allocation : automatic selecting if a unit is the only one able to attack.

Update 0.4.13

Card:

  • Do not suggest a re-roll card when the result is independent of the die; ex: on 1:4 there is an automatic CA.

AI:

  • Attack improvement

Animation:

  • Target refill was duplicated and potentially inaccurate.
  • AI counterattacks had no log and no animation.

UI:

  • In the log, the last attacking unit was ometimes on the wing side of the arrow.

Update 0.4.14

Card:

  • Allied Strategic bombing may be played with only one Axis replacement.
  • Titles was disappearing when zooming.

AI:

  • Was messing up battle colors during its counterblow segment

Victory

  • Events and surrender VP were lost after quitting and resuming the game (or multiplayer).

Update 0.4.15

AI

  • Fixed the freeze cases introduced by lats version.

Update 0.4.16

AI

  • Units position during AI movement were sometimes changed at the last moment and different than shown by animation.

Advance after combat : fixed an illegal minor move.

Update 0.4.17

UI

  • When browsing rules or settings, the top banner is hidden.
  • Victory, loads and battle via are not partially covered by the top banner.
  • Attackers allocation improvement.

Sequence:

  • AI was blocked during the animation of a surrendering unit.
  • Sequence blocked after the loss choice due to enemy partisans or production problems.
