Updates 0.3.17 to 0.3.31

Here are the changelogs for the recent updates this month.

Update 0.3.31
Cards:

  • Partisans: in the log, show the unit as it was before selection.
  • Wave Assault was not playable.
  • Cards counting for more than one counterblow did not allow to place more counterblows on map than current hand size.

Update 0.3.30
Miscellaneous bugs

  • Added some code shield against VP events being triggered outside the usual turn range.
  • Idem for sudden death triggered without the necessary amount of VP. PleaseF 10 if you observe it.

Combat:

  • It was not always possible to opt for a Cadre during an exchange.
  • In 2P games, the player had it previous moves replayed after choosing his EX loss or after an automatic CA.

Update 0.3.29
Organization

  • The confirmation message when potential replacement were into selected while still having enough card to pay was misleading.

2P:

  • The surrender button should be displayed when the game ends.

Battle:

  • Finland is attackable.

UI:

  • On the very first turn of scenario, the turn number will be highlighted in green as an incentive to over or click it and notice the calendar view.:
  • 2P: Do not display your tun play notification when loading a game

Update 0.3.28
Battle:

  • A 2-step unit was not reduced after suffering a DD result.

Organization:

  • The confirmation message was messing with units selection.

Detrain:

  • The confirmation message was wrongly displayed.

Update 0.3.27
Both side gets their support counter refilling at the beginning of the turn

UI:

  • Objective battle modifier.

Organization:

  • Confirmation message if a free upgrade has been forgotten.
  • Confirmation message if some replacements are still possible.

Detrain:

  • Confirmation message if still some entrained units.

Update 0.3.26
Move:

  • If a unit with a movement allowance greater than zero it may still move one hex regardless one the terrain cost.
  • If was not possible to undo a move during enemy reaction.

UI:

  • Initiative symbol had no tooltip on first display.

Update 0.3.25
Move:

  • Cities are automatically captured during movement on map by the player if the select destination hex allows a move via an empty city.

Train

  • In the absence of replacement / reinforcement, the game went on without giving the possibility to entrain any unit.
  • Glitches after an undo during Detrain.

Battle:

  • Armor bonus was automatically granted during counter-attacks or counterblows. It is terrain-dependent.
  • Support counters are refilled only at the beginning of your turn. You may use them during your turn or the opponent’s turn (on a counter-attack) but not twice.
  • The Next phase button is canceled until your finished to declare all your counterblows.

2P

  • You should not be able to join an online game if you have already 20 or more.
  • Leave the die-roll visible during the enemy turn.

Card

  • When the ratio is below 1:3, card events applying column shift are not playable as pointless.

Update 0.3.24
2P:

  • Your turn to play sub-window UI
  • After logging out, we land in log in mode rather than sign in.
  • The turn was pausing to removal segment eventough there were no unit to be removed. It should proceed to the enemy draw phase before doing so.
  • We were sometimes observing our own action replay when passing the turn to the opponent.
  • After creating your game, they appear under your name in the lobby.

UI:

  • Selected hexes have a green halo rather than a white one during winter turns.

Battle & Terrain info:

  • Oilfields were not granting 1 column shift in defense, nor stop armor advance..
  • Objectives were not taken into account at all.

Card:

  • Hold at cost was not pertaining to all battles.

Update 0.3.23
UI:

  • Detraining hexes were sometimes not showing up. Hoping this solves the issue for ever !
  • Saved game tiles display the right scenario titles.
  • Support numbers are displayed for both side on the side menu.
  • Counterblow or targets counters were temporarily lost after an undo move

2P:

  • Do not pass the turn to your opponent during the removal of out of supply units.

Battle:

  • AI loop after play a re-roll card event.

Update 0.3.22
UI:

  • Double-click interval has been increased from 0.2 to 0.3s. To check if double-click works properly on your machine, double-click an empty hex. The map should center around this hex.
  • Title of the declare target segment.

Organization:

  • Entraining was causing the loss of replacement selection while keeping the card cost. Now you may only entrain after placing replacement and reinforcement.

Na Berlin!:

  • To get an Automatic Soviet victory the Berlin garrison must be eliminated before turn 28.

Bug fix:

  • Placing a unit in Strategic Reserve then undoing that move was causing the unit to both on map and entrained.
  • No counterblow must be allowed across a lake.

Card:

  • No card should be playable during a discard segment
  • Enemy played cards remains longer on screen for you to read it.

Update 0.3.21
Cards:

  • Not s Step Back: should be playable in any battle
  • The hand view should be closed after discarding one of the last drawn card by Za Rodinu!
  • Simultaneous battles: Events played after die-roll resolution. The card mus the played from the unit’s menu.

Unit:

  • Surrendered red and brittle units should keep their red face upon surrender so that they enter back in play on this side.

AI:

  • Could freeze after the play of reroll event
  • Could make impossible attack to fulfil.

Update 0.3.20
Battle

  • Supports markers are collected for both sides at the beginning of the Axis turn.
  • Support markers may be used during a counter-attack.

Organization:

  • A unit may be converted only once. This avoids converting from fortress to mobile, then to fortress and to pay for nothing.
  • It is possible to replace a supplied Cadre unit on map. In these case, the replacement unit arrive organised.

Added more logs to understand the detraining issue.

Update 0.3.18
Organization

  • The first unit was always placed on map independently ion the elected unit in the top banner.
  • The disorganisation status is now visible in the top banner to better deploy your reinforcement.

Detraining:

  • Cannot occur in enemy-controlled cities and adjacent hexes.
  • The absence of hi lighted detraining hexes might be resolved by above fixes.
  • The detection of captured city was not well working. Fixed for new games.

Tutorial

  • Added two steps in the Sequence tutorial so that players notice how to display the calendar view.

Cards:

  • Gott mitt uns is playable during any draw phase.

Update 0.3.17
AI:

  • The game froze on a DR against a FORT neutralised by Heavy Artillery card.
  • AI single-step fortresses should be eliminated if forced to retreat. Soviet forts are lose a step.

UX:

  • The tooltip on the next phase button will also tell you which phase it is.

Battle:

  • Weather was not taken into account during a counter-attack.
  • When a unit retreat and cause overstacking it is automatically shattered.
  • Cadre were wrongly exiled when forced to retreat.
  • When a unit is stacked with another unit which must retreat or be shattered, the first unit shares its fate.

Victory:

  • Sudden Death mus the checked only during the turn of the side with the initiative.
  • During the initiative switch, if the Axis total VP for Surrender / Events is greeter than the Soviet one, then all VP for Surrender / Events is reset to zero.

UI:

  • The mention “Enemy’s turn” has been removed from the sequence screen when it was the opponent’s turn.
